This was likely made for one of the local libraries or one of the numerous insurance companies that called Hartford home. The previous owners used this in their print shop and before it was owned by them it belonged to their parents who were from the Hartford area. ![]() The shaped apron is a nice embellishment and is something you never find on the later 20th century examples. The finish appears to be original, and the cabinet is in very good condition with our only notes being a slight discoloration towards the bottom apron and minor surface wear. The cabinet has an attractive grain layout and is finished in a beautiful amber Oak color. The drawers retain all of their original hardware with the exception of one backplate on the bottom drawer. The top two drawers have 2” of useable height, drawers 3 & 4 have 2 1/2” of useable height, drawer 5 has 2 3/4”, drawer 6 has 3”, drawers 7 & 8 have 3 1/2”, and drawers 9 & 10 have 4” of useable height. The drawers have useable dimensions of 36 1/2” wide x 19 1/4” deep with varying heights.
